Frequent Nextcloud 34 "Hub 26 Spring" update issues

Hi community, the next release of Nextcloud 34 (Hub 26 Spring) is released!

it’s time to bundle frequent issues into a WIKI post (where everybody is welcome to add content) to help users to find solutions for frequent issues after update to NC34. This helps to avoid flooding forum with similar topics and helps everybody to identify and solve known issues.

NC35 critical changes

  • PHP 8.2 is no longer supported. php82
  • The list of officially supported operating system has been updated:
    • The minimum supported version of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 has been bumped to SP7.
    • The minimum supported version of Debian Linux has been bumped to 13 (Trixie).
    • The minimum supported version of Ubuntu Linux has been bumped to 24.04.

supported PHP versions

  • PHP 8.2 is now deprecated but still supported.
  • PHP 8.5 is now recommended. php85

supported database version

  • PG18 is now recommended (> PG14 supported)
  • MariaDB 11.8 recommended (> 10.6 supported)
