Deck Android 1.22 - ✨ Aligned theming, enhanced 'move' dialog

We are happy to announce the release of Deck Android 1.22!

Features

  • :art: Align theming with Nextcloud files app
  • ↔️ Enhanced Move dialog
  • :busts_in_silhouette: Enhanced synchronization reliability in multi account setups
  • :lady_beetle: Fix collapsed input fields of dialogs and other bugs

Deck Android 1.22 features an enhanced Move dialog which allows directly selecting the target list - one tap less. It also hides the account if there is only one account set up - saving space and reducing the visual noise.
The new version also aligned its theming with the Nextcloud Files app to provide a smoother and more consistent experience in the Nextcloud Android ecosystem. While this hasn’t been rolled out for each part of the UI (especially some dialogs are still missing), the most parts of the app are covered and apply proper Material 3 colors. The new search bar at the top will now scroll out of the window when scrolling down to gain more space for your cards.
Large parts of the app have been refactored, which should lead to a more reliable synchronization especially in a multi account environment.

1.19.4 - 1.21.8

Because the last blog post was about 1.19 and we didn’t write dedicated blog posts for the 1.20.x and 1.21.x versions, i will also summarize the features since 1.19.4:

The release is rolled out in stages (at time writing 20%), so just be a little patient if you can’t see the update yet or switch to the beta channel.
