Deck Android 1.24 - ✅ Support for (un-)completed state

We are happy to announce the release of Deck Android 1.24!

Features

  • :ballot_box_with_check: Support Completed / Uncompleted state - Requires deck server ≥ 1.12.2
  • :paperclip: Open file attachments in Nextcloud Files app
  • :link: Append link to attachment to description
  • :wastebasket: Allow to delete “file” attachments
  • :ballot_box_with_check: Share text as task to card description

Deck Android 1.24 features support for the (un-)completed state of cards which have been introduced in Deck server 1.12. Another focus point have been attachments which got several improvements. Existing attachments can be opened directly in the Nextcloud Android app instead of opening a web browser. They can be deleted and a link to them can be attached to the cards description.

The board view looks similar to the Deck server app, providing a green little check mark in case a card is completed (replacing potentially available due dates):

1.23

Because the last blog post was about 1.22 and we didn’t write dedicated blog posts for the 1.23.x versions, i will also summarize the features since 1.22:

  • :mag_right: Provide card actions (move, delete, share, …) in search view
  • :lady_beetle: Crash after starting to type in search bar

The release is rolled out in stages (at time writing 5%), so just be a little patient if you can’t see the update yet or switch to the beta channel.
