Using Nextcloud under Subfolder (i.e under domain.com/nextcloud)

I am trying to install Nextcloud in Docker and host it on my domain.com under domain.com/nextcloud
I am using the Nextcloud-fpm image, Caddy (for reverse proxy) , Nginx (for webserver).

I did research and came across many posts but none have worked for this config.
My current state is that when I go to domain.com/nextloud blank page appears and doing some tweaks by following the post I managed to get to page not found/allowed, which was shown by Nextcloud (the background was of default nextcloud wallapaper) .
Please try to find a solution as there is no official documentation for this (there is but it is for bare metal nextcloud installation and not for docker).

it’s hard to say if you passed the required parameters in your .env file… but in general running Nextcloud behind reverse proxy and non-webroot requires additional configurations. Please review

Docker image accepts ENV variables to setup above configurations

good search term in the forum are reverseproxy nginx webroot.

Starting new installation from scratch is maybe not easy please review this advanced installation examples:

I did read the examples you mentioned, some of which I already tried. After re considering the difficulty, I have decided to install Nextcloud in sub-domain as by installation by this method has no significant gain other than keeping the url bar tidy/clean while using nextcloud. But I would definitely tinker with this again in near future.
