unable to decode the metadata file

Hello, i enabled E2E encryption in windows client with no problem. But when i entered the same keywords at the iphone app, it showed the correctly decoded file names for the first time for about 1sec at the e2e folder, and after i received an “unable to decode the metadata file” error message, and since i see only encrypted file names and this error returns any time i open the e2e folder. I absolutely not set any special thing just this. What could be the problem? Thank you in advance.

Tips for increasing the likelihood of a response

  • Use the preformatted text formatting option in the editor for all log entries and configuration output.
  • If screenshots are useful, feel free to include them.
    • If possible, also include key error output in text form so it can be searched for.
  • Try to edit log output only minimally (if at all) so that it can be ran through analyzers / formatters by those trying to help you.

Are the files still accessible via the Desktop client (or the optional web mode, if you’re willing to enable it at least for testing purposes)?

It would be helpful if you filled out the support template; it exists for a reason.

Hello, yes the files are accessible from using the desktop client. I even tried to install the client to a different laptop, and it syncronized the encrypted files there correctly also after entering the E2E password. In the web client i also can access these E2E files after the password entered. Only the mobile app shows that message.

Sorry but a cant really able answer all the questions in the template.
