Transfer Speeds over LAN

Hi

Anyone able to quote their UL and DL speeds?
My UL tests show for numbers of smaller files, the rate can drop to 15Mb/s on average, with lots of variability (down to zero). And for DL maxxing out at 150Mb, but very variable
Needless to say this is much poorer equivalent internet services, even over Wi-Fi
This is over a wired LAN, with individual large files it’s more like 700Mb sustained.

Any tips on configuration gratefully received

Small files will always be slower since the overhead of headers and HTTP transactions account for a larger % of the material transmitted. However traditionally the client has supported a “bundling” feature called Bulk Upload to increase throughput for smaller files.

This feature, however, was disabled (fairly recently and only temporarily to my knowledge) in order to rework it because the implementation was problematic and the source of a fair number of bug reports.

AFAIK it is still disabled in current client versions.
