Spanish: Mail: mark as read = leído

In Mail, when you click on the …-menu for a message, the button for “mark as read” says “Lectura”, but it should be “Leído”.

(when you click, the reverse action is correct, “No leído”)

Can somebody change this?

Hello,

“mark as read” is translated as “Marcar como leído” in spanish.
Do you have a variant of spanish enabled?

Please add a screenshot.

Hello,

setting is Español (España).

Hello,
I am wondering why this change doesn’t appear on an instance with NC 29.0.9, mail 3.7.19 (=latest)?
Is there also a concept of backporting in translations?

The server bundle does take all translations for stable31, stable30 and stable29.
No need for backporting.

How the mail app is handling it I am not aware of it.

Maybe @nickvergessen knows it?

mail/.tx/backport at main · nextcloud/mail · GitHub (but note the updated 5 days ago)

@nickvergessen Wieder was gelernt. Gibt es zu den Optionen/Möglichkeiten des .tx-Ordner eine Doku? Außer den Code

Thanks for the replies!

I still don’t really understand why the change is not yet rolled out. I was assuming that this process is automated and will get into the next update. So I was expecting something like a month delay. This wasn’t fixed after more than two months, that’s why I asked.

I am not “demanding” anything, just trying to understand.

Are you saying it got rolled out with the update a few days ago?

How much time does it typically take for translation changes to arrive in updates?

Well you stated:

mail 3.7.19 (=latest)

But looking at the history: History for .tx/backport - nextcloud/mail · GitHub
stable3.7 was never in the list and therefore never synced.
could send a PR to the mail app and ask them to add it so it’s being translated.

Not really, it’s a list of branch names to consider, if the file does not exist, its a hardcoded list of the last 3 stable branches matching the server branch names
