Send notification to external user when new files are added

Hi,
I am sharing folders with external users and they get a email notification so far it works but how can I send email notifications to the external user when new files are uploaded?

I too am interested in how to send an external (non-user) individual get notifications about new files in a share. It looks like there was a Flow that might have done it (Mail Notifier - Apps - App Store - Nextcloud) but its unmaintained and not functional with recent NC releases.
