Nextcloud version (eg, 24.0.1): 33.0.3
FormFox version 1.2.2

Dear support Team,
I’m new here and glad to have a community to ask question.

For our Achery Club, I want to use next Nextcloud Hosted Version from Wolkesicher.
Since we do have Tournaments over the year, I want to use Form or FoxForm instead of Microsoft (is in use) to create a registration form for tournament participants.
After registration, the participant should get automatically an email with his data + other information for this tournament.

I tried to create a form with Form as well as FoxForm.
Both works fine, but I can’t find a solution to send an email to the participant after his registration.
I already reviewed older request and found this similar one: Notification via Email when a form has been submitted - using Flow?!

Since this request was from 2024, maybe something has been updated and a different way work.

I would be happy if someone has a workaround for me.

best regards
Peter

Hello,

Welcome to the Nextcloud Community!

With Nextcloud Forms, this is currently not possible, this is the issue: Send content of response as mail notification to form owner · Issue #1233 · nextcloud/forms · GitHub

You can react with :+1: there if you also want this implemented (don’t comment “I also need this”). Someone is working on implementing this feat(forms): add submission notification emails with external recipients and PDF attachments by QuiteBitter · Pull Request #3251 · nextcloud/forms · GitHub - so we might be lucky and get this feature soon.

I don’t know if it is possible with Foxform, maybe someone else knows.
