I am trying to synthesize what is written in different issues, hoping that a “comprehensive” issue can be useful for the developers.
Often there is the request for the possibility to perform group operations on files.
they are a search result
they are a tag selection result
they are selected by hand
It would be really practical to have the possibility to perform operations as:
share all the selected files
tag all the selected files
delete
references and requests:
I am a photographer and have a big database of photos in my cloud. Sometimes a (prospective) client asks for photos that meet criteria x, y and z. It would be nice if I could create a share for exactly the photos that I tagged with these criteria. Folders are too clumsy for that.

This is probably a stupid question but is there a way to select multiple files and share them? Like if I have a folder with files, but I want to share only let’s say 49 out of 100, can I just select them and click “share” somewhere?
I can see download, but I cannot find “share” and if I click on an icon next to the file, it’s just sharing one file.

1. Search for zip files in your cloud
2. Now try to delete them all
### Expected behaviour
The results list should allow me to select all or part of the files shown and present me with some standard file operations. Delete being the most obvious one.

- Delete
- Tag
#### Not needed
- Move (only works in some specific cases)
- Rename
### Actual behaviour
I can only click on an entry, which will take me to the folder.

To keep double structure here and on github doesn’t make sense. I think there is nothing to discuss here, it more a waiting game until a developer implements this feature. Let’s mark it as solved here and redirect people to github:
I would love to have the possibility to move the selected files, too.
