After updating to the latest version, Iāve noticed the following:
No matter what kind of document I upload, it always shows as ā0 bytesā in size. Is there a solution for this?
Iām using the Opera browser, which worked fine before.
However, Iāve noticed that it works in Chrome, so my question is: how can I fix this so it works in Opera again?
It doesnāt seem to be a general Nextcloud problem.
But it would still be great if someone could explain why it works in one browser and not another. Iām not getting any error messages.
My OS is:
CachyOS latest build with kernel 7.x
I installed Opera via āFlatpakā.
Thanks for the support.
Apart from this problem, I havenāt noticed anything else wrong with the browser.
Operating system and version (Truenas Linux version : 6.12.33-production+truenas #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon Feb 23 17:38:27 UTC 2026 x86_64 GNU/Linux*)*
Otherwise, I have no problems except for the internal Nextcloud instance, but the problem only affects the Opera browser; it seems to work with Chrome. Maybe I should wait until the next update; itās well known that new updates always bring new bugs.
Iāve already gone through a few Nextcloud updates and always had new problems on the instance after an update. Sometimes the notes suddenly stop working, other times itās the browser issue. Well, itās never boring, that much is certain.
So, with version 34.0.1 the problem was fixed, but it also introduced new problems, including some that I experienced after the update. I think Iāll mark it in my calendar for when a Nextcloud update comes out that doesnāt have these issues for me. But I think thatāll be a long wait.
