Onlyoffice Filesize exceeds document server limit

Hi,

I got the error: " File exceeds the limitation set for your server" when I open a pptx with 150mb. I am using onlyoffice with docker and a nginx proxy and IĀ“ve set client_max_body_size to 250m, but it doesnĀ“t seem to solve the problem.

Has anyone a hint, where and how to control this setting?

Yes, have a look on the forum, as suggested in the support template that you deleted when writing your post.

Yours is the third thread asking about ā€œsize limitā€ in the past 24 hoursā€¦

Do the suggestions in those threads not help your case?

Hi,

thanks for your reply - I used your link and searched again - there is no other thread about this topic. The file size exceeds within onlyoffice.

And no there was no template to fill out.

Hi yoursql719,

That is a useful (new) bit of information. I have no such large documents myself, and with Collabora Iā€™m not sure I can replicate your findings.

My bad. Perhaps the Office-category makes a difference. When I start a support thread, I always get this template to enter the standard stuff that people ask about when it is missing ; NC version and way of installation, network settings, logs.

Thanks, it is a power point file with 140mb file size (many images, audio etc.). IĀ“ve googled a lot, if there is any kind of docker environment variable, which I could use when only office is started, but havenĀ“t found anything.

Have you had a look at the uncompressed setting in the onlyoffice config?

With the document file being 140 MB, the uncompressed size might be a bit larger again (although, images and audio wonā€™t compress that much).

Thanks, IĀ“ve found this thread, but I am using the docker image from onlyoffice and there seems to be no environment variable, which could write this every time the container restarts.

Sorry, I have to leave more suggestions to other passers by.
