is it possible to switch the nextcloud client for pc to “one way syncing”? So the data is just copied to the nextcloud but does not get lost when the data is deleted on the client?

Can a one way auto upload sync be added as a choice to the desktop client, AKA “one way sync” nextcloud as a dropbox clone is cool okay but I have no need for it, and it in it’s assumptions can be deleterious if the cloud version is umm, #notgood, and so deletes local files, can we make one side the master authoritive list, one just a shareable accessable version?
No the Nextcloud client is a sync solution. You could use a backup tool that can put things on a webdav storage…
Syncthing software has the options Up Only, Down only and Both ways. This would be very useful to have in the Nextcloud client. And shows those options are considered important.
