No Mail App in fresh installed 31.?

Hi,

I have a freshly installed Nextcloud ( Nextcloud Hub 10, community edition via web-i9nstaller) with … no Mail-App?
I can find Rainloop and Snappymail, but not the original app. This is what my groupware bundle looks like:

What am I missing?

Thanks,
Boas

Not sure. That’s odd. Can you check your logs as described in the support template?

Can you find the Mail app if you call up the store URL directly?

example.com/index.php/settings/apps/office/mail

Do you still have this problem?

I’m asking because shortly after the release of 31, I ran into a problem on a test instance where the Mail app threw an integrity check error after I upgraded to 31, and a little later I couldn’t find the app in the store anymore. However, both issues should now be fixed, and on another instance where the app isn’t installed, I can find it via search, and it’s also listed under App bundles → Hub bundle.

weird … index.php/settings/apps/office/mail leads me to the “office & text” group

???

Hi,

the app is also not in the hub bundle

Maybe I will install from scratch today …

thanks, Boas

It leads me there as well, but it also shows me the Mail app in the right side bar:

And what happens if you try to install it via occ command?

occ app:install mail

…and/or:

occ app:enable mail

its getting weirder:

Solved …

Since this is a test system I did assign the most recent software I got - including PHP 8.4.4 … and obviously that did not work. I went back to 8.3 and reinstalled Nextcloud - and voila: Mail App …

Thanks for all your input!

Boas

Hmmm… I was going to test the Mail myself and noticed that like OP, the mail does not appear on my Apps page either. Yes, that instance was on PHP8.4, however, I switched it back to 8.3 and still, the app is nowhere to be found. I too get the same error when I try to install it via OCC.

I get same error as well.
