Nextcloudpi - account currently not available?

I am trying to set up Nextcloud on the Raspberry Pi. I have downloaded Nextcloudpi v1.50.3 and flashed the image to a SD card, inserted it into the Raspberry Pi, it system runs and boots and then asks for a Nextcloudpi login and password. The guide i have been following say i should just enter the default; pi and raspberry as the password but this does not work. also below the Nextcloud logo it says “This account is currently not available”

Yes, that’s a current issue with RPI-Nexctcloudpi-setups.

Please use following workaround:
Activate SSH using the WebUI for user pi .
With doing this, the user pi gets activated again (and you have to set a new password for user pi too).

I ran into the same issues while doing a clean install - but found following workaround: Instead of using the user “ncp” (showing up as default) enter the user “pi” here. Doing this allows you to set a new password for user pi. [grafik] Afterwards you can SSH to the raspi with user pi. During your first logon you’ll have to change the password once more (and will be logged off automatically after having changed the password).
