I hope you will be able to assist as I am a Newby.
I have a selfhosted version of Nextcloud and I would like to take the opportunity and make use of the WEB UPDATER function. However the issue what I have is that this “Button” is not even activated. Can someone please provide a sort of guidance on how to solve this issue? Much appreciated!

It’s likely deactivated because of your install method. Many of the common install methods – other than bare metal/Archive – utilize their own update mechanisms.
We can’t offer assistance though since you didn’t fill out the support template.
Five apps are mentioned in the screenshot. I don’t understand why they are there. Can you update the apps beforehand or simply deactivate them? Unfortunately, the Webupdater has many disadvantages. If possible, use php occ updater/updater.phar.
I also once had an instance where the button could not be clicked. I did not find a solution at the time. Could be a server-side problem or client-side JavaScript. This won’t happen to you with the CLI updater.
