Getting help

In order to help you as efficiently (and quickly!) as possible, please fill in as much of the below requested information as you can.

Before clicking submit: Please check if your query is already addressed via the following resources:

(Utilizing these existing resources is typically faster. It also helps reduce the load on our generous volunteers while elevating the signal to noise ratio of the forums otherwise arising from the same queries being posted repeatedly).

Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can.

The Basics

  • Nextcloud Server version (e.g., 29.x.x):
    • 32.0.1
  • Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 24.04):
    • Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
  • Web server and version (e.g, Apache 2.4.25):
    • Apache2
  • Reverse proxy and version _(e.g. nginx 1.27.2)
    • (dunno, only running in local lan)
  • PHP version (e.g, 8.3):
    • PHP 8.2.29
  • Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Yes / No):
    • yes, since IP change
  • When did this problem seem to first start?
    • after IP change
  • Installation method (e.g. AlO, NCP, Bare Metal/Archive, etc.)
    • through Admin App interface
  • Are you using CloudfIare, mod_security, or similar? (Yes / No)
    • No

Summary of the issue you are facing:

Hello,

I am running the above on a proxmox VM. I initially hosted my server on 10.0.0.14, but I changed it to 10.0.0.4. All other apps are running fine, but for some reason Nextcloud office keeps pointing to 10.0.0.14…. :frowning: (see the nextcloud error log, config.php seems fine to me).

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

  1. Just try to open a new nextcloud document in the files sections and then the error occurs.

Log entries

Nextcloud

Please provide the log entries from your Nextcloud log that are generated during the time of problem (via the Copy raw option from Administration settings->Logging screen or from your nextcloud.log located in your data directory). Feel free to use a pastebin/gist service if necessary.

Have you configured the correct Collabora URL? You can check your Collabora URL in your Nextcloud under /index.php/settings/admin/richdocuments or with occ:

php occ config:app:get richdocuments wopi_url
php occ config:app:get richdocuments wopi_allowlist

Also make sure that you enter the correct IP address in the WOPI allowlist.

Hello,

first command still gave the wrong url, now it is correct:

php occ config:app:get richdocuments wopi_url
https://10.0.0.4/apps/richdocumentscode/proxy.php?req=
php occ config:app:get richdocuments wopi_allowlist
0.0.0.0/0

I now get the follow in error in the /index.php/settings/admin/richdocuments interface (choosing either option: own server, use the built-in CODE)

Could not establish connection to the Collabora Online server.

Failed to connect to the remote server: cURL error 60: SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name '10.0.0.4' (see https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html) for https://10.0.0.4/apps/richdocumentscode/proxy.php?req=/hosting/discovery

Maybe I need to add that I am running in a local LAN and not do have SSL enabled, running everyting in http…

Strange, just retried a couple of times with using own server (and disabling certificates, which at first did not work) and now I get the following OK message:

Collabora Online server is reachable.

Collabora Online Development Edition 25.04.5.4 be0b3cc3ef

URL used by the browser: https://10.0.0.4
Nextcloud URL used by Collabora: https://10.0.0.4 (Determined from the browser URL)

Tried editing a document, but I get a server timeout (“the server has disconnected” in the web interface) when loading the web office interface. I do not see any immediate error messages in the nxtcloud log.

Hello,

found a related error:

I do not know if this one is related:

thx for help
