Nextcloud client persistently crashes on Windows 11

On a Windows 11 machine I’ve installed Nextcloud client 3.8.0 using it with the third party cloud service Aruba Drive.
All was working fine until I decided to change the synch folder from the “original” one to another. From then on, the client crashes immediately when trying to open it.
I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall the client, but this can’t solve the issue.
I’ve searched the knowledge base here but none of formes cases seems to give me a solution.

Thanks for any help.

Found myself a solution.

The issue was due to the folders:

  • C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Nextcloud
  • C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Nextcloud
both containing settings files for Nextcloud.

I’ve uninstalled the client, then simply renamed (or delete) the two folders then made a fresh new client installation.
All solved.
