Migrating from owncloud 10.0.10.4 to nextcloud.
According to the
https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/admin_manual/maintenance/migrating_owncloud.html
and
https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/admin_manual/maintenance/manual_upgrade.html
I should download the nextcloud version 20.0.x (but at least 20.0.5)
I tried both 20.0.5 and 20.0.10 and I get the same error on OCC upgrade:
sudo -u apache php occ upgrade
Nextcloud or one of the apps require upgrade - only a limited number of commands are available
You may use your browser or the occ upgrade command to do the upgrade
Setting log level to debug
Turned on maintenance mode
Exception: Updates between multiple major versions and downgrades are unsupported.
Update failed
Maintenance mode is kept active
Resetting log level
Which version should I use please?
Hmm, sounds out of date. Can look for any other info on this at Issues · nextcloud/documentation · GitHub

Hello,

I cannot use ownCloud anymore, because it does not support PHP8. I tried to patch the PHP8 issues for several hours now, but it doesn’t work.
My question is, how can I upgrade ownCloud 10.13.0 to Nextcloud? The upgrade only seems to be possible from ownclo…
