I had a problem with my photos not uploading at all after the recent Google restrictions. Today I saw a thread where people said they solved it by re-installing the app (I’m on Android) and that did indeed get things to upload again.
However, everything uploaded to the root folder. I’ve checked and triple-checked my settings and I have it set to create folders by date, as I have always done (over 5 years now). I disabled and re-enabled instant upload, stopped and started the app; nothing works, they keep going to the root folder. Any ideas?
Which version are you using?
I am on version 3.30.8, installed from F-Droid, and have similar problems. It helps if you restart the phone. Restart until all files have been uploaded.
But I found out that sometimes not all files are uploaded, although the app says “all uploaded”. And then you can manually find out which files are missing and upload them manually.
I’ve been working with it for many years now, but time and time again errors occur and i’m getting tired of dealing with them.
