Group Folders, where is the app?

I have a 1 week old amd64 installation of nextcloud aio 10, I want to install the group folders app, it is not listed to install and activate. I have made users, I have made an everyone group and added the users, but no matter where I look I cannot add a group folder. There are videos showing how but are not up-to-date enough to be in line with my menu’s or app lists.
Anyone know how to fix this? Is it now called groupware or team?

Called team folders since Hub 10.

See Team folders - Apps - App Store - Nextcloud

btw. use the support template next time.

If you don’t mind I would like to follow up without resorting to a support template as most data required there is irrelevant as this is about documents/how to’s and not a particular fault.

Here we go, I have found Teams 31.0.0 enabled under Admin - Apps -Active Apps - Teams, the resources listed on the right website and admin docs provide no help (at least to me).

Your link Team folders - Apps - App Store - Nextcloud revisits the same links I cannot see how to make a team.

Starting from a folder General Access Files, I click the 3 dots, then show sharing options. I see top right “Share with accounts and teams” dropdown. Inside the drop down (remembering I have not set a team yet) I see “share with a deck card” (I don’t know about deck cards) anyway I see “Select the card to link to a project”, I have to select Personal in Board first, then I select Example 1 in card. The info about the folder has changed in top right, I select Allow editing and then update share. Going to left menu I select Shared with others, which was previously empty it now shows the General Access Folder.
At the top I click people and it just shows Admin.
I am finding my way in the dark.

  • How to add other people/teams???
  • How to get “How to” information that is useful?
  • Then I went to Deck on the top menu and in there I was able to add the Everyone Group I made previously.
Then the General Access Folder (GAF) had a + sign showing it was shared.
Only as Admin could I add a folder inside the GAF, but each user could see the new folder inside the GAF which was now visible to them.
I am thinking my guessing must be written down in a flow chart in a specific order to help others in a similar position, eventually I will guess my way to a situation where users may also write, edit and delete.

This may in fact be the solution and I will mark it so… good luck!
