NC version: Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.6), client version 3.16.6 (Windows)
I am seeing a strange problem.
I cannot delete some folders inside the group folder. I have write and delete access.
I delete via the web, when synchronizing the client, an error appears “temporary error when removing local item removed from server”. I delete from a PC, from different clients of version 3.16.6, but the folders still reappear. I rename - a duplicate with the original name is restored.
We don’t know when it started, the first mention from a colleague came on June 27, but the fact is that I only made a cloud for us a couple of 2-3 weeks ago and moved the documents there. The main problem is that I can’t recreate it on other folders. Not yet, anyway.
It has now been updated to the latest version Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.6).
I have installed the latest update for Groupfolders.
The client version is 3.17 Alpha.
Perhaps this will be useful information:
nextcloud from is-systems is installed on truenas with all available patches.
Postgres 17
There were suspicions that the folder path was too long, but if I do the same thing on my personal nextcloud cloud, then everything works fine.
Once again, I’m encountering an issue that resembles the one mentioned before.
This time, the folder nesting level is shallower than in the initial example, with the full path on my computer being 98 characters long.
The “rsc” folder cannot be deleted—neither via the PC nor through the browser. When attempting to copy the “SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC” folder to another location using the browser, an error occurs.
when viewing folders directly from under the OS, it is clear that the copying was not completed, and the copied files did not appear in the NC database.

I have disabled access to the problematic shared folder for everyone.
I have created a new, empty groupfolder with the same name as the original one. After granting myself access, I noticed that the non-removable folders were still present.
In the screenshot, on the right side, there is a restricted folder that cannot be deleted. On the left side, there is an empty folder that I created. As soon as I granted myself access, the non-removable folders appeared in the new folder.
Additionally, I am experiencing issues when attempting to sync other folders with large attachments.
