Fifth beta of Nextcloud Hub 9 (v30)

The fifth beta of Nextcloud 30 is now available on our download server!

As always, help with testing is very much welcome!
If you notice anything out of order, please report back on the appropriate Github repository!

It should be the last beta before RC1 next week. Stay tuned!

Thanks. I just installed it. There are a couple oddities (like a lot of disk activity during installation and it reset the theme color; also, in ExApps, is says up top “All ExApps are up-to-date,” but I see one that needs updating.), but one thing I’m stuck on.

I’ve been using a signaling server / high-performance backend, which I did based on a recipe I found at a web page. The new Nextcloud Talk says it’s incompatible. The original build reports “unknown” for the version. I changed it to report “1.3.2”. What version does it need, and what is it actually looking for in the version string?

Thanks for all the hard work! I’m getting more dug into the Nextcloud world year by year, month by month, week by week …

What version does it need, and what is it actually looking for in the version string?

Not the version is checked but the capabilities. Currently there’s no released version that supports 30.
