Is it possible to send an email notification to the owner of file drop folder when a file is uploaded?

I’m hoping the new Flow functionality can do this. Don’t see any usable examples or docs.
I know this is an old conversation, but has this feature ever been implemented? I have searched the forum and found nothing. I am not receiving such notifications and the settings for email notifications don’t seem to cover file drop. Receiving an email after a file is added to a file drop is quite important in my situation.

It looks like unbelievable to me such a basic need couldn’t be accomplished with Nextcloud… I hope is only due to my ignorance about how to configure notifications. I just upgraded to the 22 branch and still not figuring out how to configure this! :S
I would also very much appreciate such a functionality.
One thing I managed to set up is to receive a notification when a file has been uploaded to a shared/file drop folder: I
- installed the https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/flow_notifications app
- added a tag
mytagto the folder - created a notification workflow:
- if file created
- and tagged with
mytag - then sent a notification
But I haven’t yet figured out how to create an email notification.
EDIT: Turns out I’ve also received an email, only a bit later (probably because of general email settings).
