Desktop client restores deleted files

Hello,

I notice a very strange and fatal behaviour. Users reported to me that deleted files suddendly reappear in a shared folder.

In the activities app it shows:

  1. You have created “folder/file”
  2. You have deleted “folder/file”
  3. User foo has created “folder/file”

And so the file exists again. I can’t explain what’s going on here and where to start.

NC: 20.0.4/20.0.5
PHP: 7.4-fpm

I can’t tell which desktop client version are in use.

Any ideas?
