Davx works fine. Only the naming of the contacts is a bit weird.
On my Android und contacts I have a Contacts (*email*) #17 which in fact is the synced address list.
I moved (and removed) all my google contacts to NextCloud and have them now in all my mobile phones and Thunderbird installations.
