CURL installation failed with error "distro not supported"

I tried searching, but didn’t find answer for the issue I met. Appreciate if anyone can help me here.
I have a Debian installed, without desktop environment.

No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Debian
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 9.9 (stretch)
Release: 9.9
Codename: stretch

After I ran curl to install nextcloud, I got such error:

Installing NextCloudPi…
ERROR: distro not supported:
Debian GNU/Linux 9 \n \l

Can anyone help to advise how to continue? Thanks a lot.

maybe you have the wrong installation-pkg (i’m not sure what you are trying to install where) - better check that again.
on debian you can just usually download the installation-archive and upack it, but since you are posting in this category you might be trying to to sth. else.

The curl installer, has been updated to, and works with Buster (Release 10) only.

Thanks for the comments. I reinstalled Debian to Buster, and curl installation can be continued. But faced another issue: “lamp: a2enmod command not found”. I am going to post the issue individually.

Is there a timeline to update the curl installer to Bullseye (Release 11)?
