Salut,

Je viens de remarquer que dans l’application Nextcloud Calendar, le 1er mai est indiquĂ© comme la “FĂȘte du travail”, hors ça n’a jamais Ă©tĂ© le cas, c’est PĂ©tain qui parlait de fĂȘte du travail

C’est la fĂȘte des travailleur·euse·s.

Savez-vous vers qui me tourner pour que cela soit corrigé please ?

I’m not French, so I don’t know if there’s a debate or disagreement on this in France, but to me that smells like someone trying to use this forum for some kind of political propaganda.

Either way, according to “Le site officiel de l’administraion française” “FĂȘte du Travail”
 seems to be the official name in France: Jours fĂ©riĂ©s dans la fonction publique | Service-Public.fr

So no need to consult the “corrupt” Wikipedia on this, but rather the “corrupt” state, I guess :wink:

No, I’m not, and I even have some sympathy for your version of the name, but I think Nextcloud should stick to the official naming here. By the way, in German it is called “Tag der Arbeit”, which literally translates to: Day of the Work or Jour de la Travail.

However, today there is no “official name”, nothing in the legislation indicates that May 1st is Labor day, nothing, and in France, this term is not used by all politicians, even within the government.

Some governments have used this term, while others used the term Day of workers.
