hey @bexxter and welcome to the community-forum of NC.
Have you searched the forum for similar problems, first?
I mean we had some problems with Android-Nextcloud (from Google playstore) during last weeks… They had to do with google wanting us to remove some neccessary permissons from the app in order to download it from playstore.
You could try running android nextcloud app from f-droid (“appstore”). It should run without any problems. It’s an official version as well. And it still has all the permissions that it needs to run correctly.
maybe that would help you with your problem as well.
I have the app version 3.30.6 (previous version) installed on my Android phone.
I could watch, that uploads will not start immediatelly as older versions did, but i had to wait several minutes, before the upload began.
Same happens, if I send files from my phone to nextcloud.
Thank you. That seems to be the same worse experience, I learned withe the latest version. So I will try the install a 3.29.x version from fdroid, if still available.
Today some of my collegaues phone updated autmatically to 3.30.7 and they can’t see any external folder
So I put back the 3.30.6 and voila… everything works perfect. How can i disable auto update?
The phone still needs to be restarted until the automatic upload starts, and sometimes not all files have been uploaded. And then you can manually search around to find which files are missing and then upload them manually.
On my Android device auto-upload (version 3.30.8 from F-Droid) starts after an indefinite delay - sometimes after 2 minutes, in many cases after more than 15 minutes.
Had same problem… Long long long story ended by setting app to not automatically update (not sure if this matters) uninstalling, restarting phone, reinstalling… Everything uploaded…
