Summary of the issue you are facing:

I’m using Konqueror to do the admin stuff. After the update only the server version is visible in the admin overview.
I checked the admin overview with Chrome on Android and it looks normal, so it seems to be a compatibility problem with the HTML and Konqueror 23.08.5

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

  1. Open the nextcloud webpage with Konqueror 23.08.5 and login as admin

  2. Open …/settings/admin/overview

Check the Web Browser instructions in the support template.

Unfortunately the Inspector is not working

I am a GNOME user myself, but I have a virtual machine here with KDE Plasma 6.6 and Konqueror 25.12.2, and the Nextcloud 33 admin overview page works fine there.

If I had to guess, two things come to mind as possible reasons why it might not be working for you:

  1. A caching issue:
Most of the problems of this kind that I have encountered could be solved by either ‘loading without cache’ (Ctrl+F5 in Firefox, not sure about Konqueror) or deleting all caches, cookies, and website data/settings from the browser history.

  2. The version of Konqueror you are using may be too old:
To use modern web apps without encountering any issues, you should generally keep your browsers up to date. For example, if you’re using an older version of KDE on a ‘stable’ distribution such as Debian, where you don’t receive feature updates for KDE apps like Konqueror, the longer a release is out, the more likely you are to experience issues.

If I had to bet, though, I’d still put my money on #1.

Thanks. After clearing the cache and cookies the Nextcloud login overlay does not show up anymore. Something really screwed with this Konqueror which is the default version of my Kubuntu 24.04 notebook that still runs on Plasma 5.27.
I’ll check on that. Thanks for the confirmation that it working on your side.
