Windows Desktop Client not showing uploaded or downloaded status

Server: Ubuntu 18.04 VM Guest on Hyper V 2016
Nextcloud version: 15.07
Client: Windows 10 host using NC desktop Client version 2.5.2

I have been using Nextcloud cloud for a number of years and I notice that the last few updates to the desktop client have removed an important feature from the activity tab. After syncing takes place there is now no way of knowing whether the sync was an upload or a download. It just mentions Synced… and the file name.
Is this a deliberate change to the client features or is there something I have mis-configured?
