Hi all,
I’m using Nextcloud Desktop on Windows and want to keep Virtual Files enabled so users only download files when needed.
What I’m trying to prevent is users being able to:
- choose “Make always available locally”
- choose “Disable virtual file support”
I checked the mass-deployment documentation and found options like --isvfsenabled, but I could not find a documented Windows policy, registry key, MSI property, config setting, or admin option that hides or disables those UI actions.
Is there an official supported way in the standard Windows client to enforce this?
If not, is a custom-built client currently the only option?
Thanks.
