I’m curious about this as “in general” the client is not expected to sync links, which is widely discussed since very first days but still not implemented:
Hi guys,
I plan to move to nextcloud as soon as it comes out.
I was wondering if nextcloud has any plans for symbolic link support.
I currently backup and sync my project and work folders with owncloud, and there are some internal symlinks in there.
It would be nice if symlinks are also saved as is, meaning that they will appear as symlinks on other devices as well.
At the moment, I have to manually take care of these symlinks which is a bit annoying.

### Expected behaviour
Not synchronized files (eg: shortcut lnk files) should n… ot be synchronized and have a yellow warning sign in the explorer.
### Actual behaviour
When you force synchronization, the yellow warning sign disappears. If you add a new file to the synchronized folder, the warning appears again.
### Steps to reproduce
1. Create a shortcut (warning sign appears on file in explorer)
2. Force Sycnhronization in client (warning sign disappears on file in explorer)
3. Add a new file in the folder. (warning sign comes back)

Client version:
3.2.2
Operating system:
Windows10
OS language:
French
Nextcloud version: 19
and many more… in my installation I didn’t notice hang issues after update to NC25… but I’m running Docker/Apache with uses PHP 8.1 (I would recommend to not use PHP 7.4 anymore as it is not supported by PHP project anymore)
