I am trying to help our secretary with her Win 10 pro laptop to get NC client working (she complained her old installation didn’t work any more).
We removed the old NC client and installed fresh latest from MSI file.
Installation seems to go well, but then the classical setup wizard to choose the server doesn’t appear. Also, the “Nextcloud” icon does appear, but after clicking on it, there is an icon going on for a few seconds and then nothing.
I am not a windows guy, how do I debug it running nextcloud in terminal to see what’s wrong ?
Hello, I have removed the file, uninstalled Nextcloud, removed C:\Program Files\Nextcloud, updated the UHD Intel 620 drivers, reinstalled NextCloud.. still the installation “work” but then nothing happens when I lunch NextCloud itself.

It worked once I removed from the laptop.. the old data folder (the one under sync). At that point, I could get the wizard to choose a server and a fresh sync (i.e. download) started and all went fine.
This is strange, because I did already remove the nexcloud.cgf file - actually the whole Nextcloud folder in AppData - (and rebooted), but it seems that there are other places in Windows that “keep memory” of the Nextcloud configuration.
