What I’d love to see would be a two part, first run combo… what do I mean by that? Well, when Nextcloud is first installed, there’s a first run wizard, where the admin chooses which apps are installed, and thus made available to the users. Then, when the user logs in for the first time, there’s a similar first run wizard, asking them which apps (out of the ones the admin installed) they’d like enabled for their user.
That way everyone gets to see whats available, and choose the ideal set of functionality for them.
In this version, all users could access the apps section, but for non admin users it would just let them enable/disable the apps installed by the admin for their user.
