Complete newbie here. I’m wanting to store a couple TB of data and have it be accessible via Nextcloud. I presume that it would be more cost effective to store my data on a different server than that which is hosting Nextcloud. What do you guys recommend for external storage taking cost, security and performance into account? Thanks

Can I use two storage locations? One would be a home linux box and another would be cloud. Which cloud provider is recommended?
FreeNAS is a good way to go (in my opinion 
) for local storage. As far as two storage locations, are you talking about having backups?
I like Backblaze B2 but it requires some manual configuration since they don’t provide a client.
