Where cam I get a basic/simple introduction to E2E encyption on NextCloud?

Is E2E encyption on NextCloud already implemented or must I load some 3th party application like CryptoMator, 7ZIP…?

End-to-End encryption is a mix of two things:

an optional app called end_to_end_encryption that you must install on the server (as long as you are not also using server-side encryption via the encryption app)
using one or more of the official Nextcloud clients (not Web since that you won’t be able to access your end-to-end encrypted files on the Web UI any longer by definition)

# End-to-End Encryption App

This app provides all the necessary APIs to implement End-to-End encryption
on the client side. Additionally it makes sure that End-to-End encrypted
files are not accessible with the web interface and other WebDAV clients.
