What's wrong (I moved to new host)?

Hi there,
I have this message this I moved my instance :

“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator if this error reappears multiple times, please include the technical details below in your report.
More details can be found in the server log.”

What I did:

  • downloaded nextcloud folder from my previous host
  • downloaded the database
  • uploaded the nextcloud folder to the new host
  • created a database and imported the saved database

Thanks for your help.
Mark

Without further details, it is difficult to find a solution. Do you now have a new domain and if so, have you customised it?

You can also start with a simple page like

https://newcloud.server.tld/status.php

first. What happens then? Do you have shell access for more advanced commands?

You may also have problems with the PHP version. Which PHP version did you have before and do you have now?

have you update your config/config.php e.g. because of database account?

Thanks for your reply. Indeed I should have give you more details. I moved https://lacave.clicsetdeclic.net to the same URL.

Doing https://lacave.clicsetdeclic.net/status.php error page shows up…

I indeed change config/config.php informations based on new database info

It sounds you are moving from one hosted space to another. I would expect both systems are different in term of prerequisites, installed modules and versions. I would expect some prerequisits are missing on new host.
