What does "CSRF check failed" mean?

When I attempt to access my nextcloud web portal it just constantly reloads the page over and over and over again.

I recently transferred over about 21 gbs of files from my windows laptop over webdav using Raidrive. Maybe this has something to do with it?

When I attempt to log out I get the message:

CSRF check failed

When I try to access system information from teh support tab I get this:

I don’t know what CSRF check failed means (I’m currently googling and trying to find the answer) but it seems to be something held in common with a lot of the threads I see talking about the reloading ever 5 seconds problem too.

So any clues? What can I do?

Aaaaand the issue resolved itself once I restarted the entire machine, and not just the server.

IDK why? Weird errors like this keep happening, and then the only way the get fixed is by me starting the machine.

I have no clue why though.

If anyone can help me understand why this is happening, or what a CSRF check error is, that would be helpful, so that it doesn’t happen again or so that I can fix it. Thank you.
