WebUI: Left pane of Users page is not shown in Safari of iPad portrait mode or any mode in iPhone

Nextcloud version (eg, 12.0.2): 16.0.1.1
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 17.04): FreeNAS-11.2-U4.1
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): nginx 1.14.0_13,2
PHP version (eg, 7.1): 7.1.23

The issue I am facing:

Expected result:

a way to show the left pane, which contents a “Create User” button, such as a hamburger or a button. Or
show the left pane directly.

Actual result:

no way to show the left pane on portrait mode of an iPad nor any mode on an iPhone.

Steps to replicate it:

open the nextcloud server domain in Safari on an iPad in portrait mode or an iPhone in whatever mode
login into the nextcloud server
click the user avatar from the upper right corner
select “Users” from the menu

Even though your screenshot looks quite normal, do you have a custom theme? You have a couple of errors in the logs, most shouldn’t be related to your problem, just to be sure check out if demo.nextcloud.com works on your browser. If not, there is a bug in the interface and you should report this on github.com/nextcloud/server/issues.

If you upgraded from a previous version, it would be interesting to know since when you have seen this problem.

I have filed a bug on the page as suggested. github.com/nextcloud/server/issues.

Yes, the demo.nextcloud.com did not show the left pane as well.

I started notice this problem since Nextcloud v.16.0. It may have appeared in v.15 as well as I didn’t need to add user then.

It happens on Google Chrome Version 74.0.3729.169 (Official Build) (64-bit), running on macOS version 10.14.5 (18F132) too if I make the window/tab narrower than 800 pixels.
