Warning that storage is full although there is enough free space on storage

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 26.0.1
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): Raspbian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): nginx/1.18.0
PHP version (eg, 7.4): 8.1.18

The issue you are facing:
One user get the message: “Your storage is full, files cannot be updated or synced anymore!” but there is enough free space. The quota is set to unlimited.
Screenshot 2023-04-25 050316

The user used 870 GB of data. Free space on the data-partition is 2,3 T.

But I just noticed that under Admin/System/Disks “Free space” is only 243 MB.

Does anyone has a hint for me?

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Y

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Update from Nexcloud 25.x to 26.0.1
  2. Login as user
  3. Warning message: “Your storage is full, files cannot be updated or synced anymore!” appears

So, I uploaded a big file and now the warning message is gone. The system-page changed to this:

I think the problem is that I moved the data-directory after installation. This was not a problem in the past.

Hello,

I am facing the same issue after updating from Nextcloud 25.0.6 to 26.0.1.

i am running Nextcloudpi on an Odroid HC1. OS is running from SDcard, data is on a 1TB drive. There is about 15 GB data on it.

Nextcloud version: 26.0.1
Operating system and version: armbian (Debian 11.7)
Apache or nginx version: apache 2.4.56
PHP version: 8.1.18

After updating to 26.0.1 and login as my regular user i get the warning message that storage is full.

Then i logged in as admin user under ‘settings/admin/serverinfo’ and free storage space shows 24 MB.

Checking free space in ssh console confirms that there is 917 GB free.

Uploading a file with about 120 MB let the warning message disapear. Now ‘settings/admin/serverinfo’ shows under free storage space something like -177548 B.

I am facing the same issue. Upgraded from 24.x to 26.0.1 a few weeks ago.
