Summary of the issue you are facing:
I see a warning in the log without any context which apps caused it:
Could not detect host of open graph image URI ***REMOVED SENSITIVE VALUE***
However since this URL is in a markdown document I suspect the link preview when clicking the link, causes this.
I don’t need any link previews at all - but it seems they can not be disabled. But even if there is a problem with the retrieval of open graph information, this should not be a warning in the log but only an info, since there is nothing one can change about this anyway.
Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):
