Using updater unable to update from 18.0.3 to 18.0.4 [solved]

Nextcloud version : 18.0.3
Operating system and version : Freebsd
Using nginx

Issue : Unable to unable to update from 18.0.3 to 18.0.4 using “Updater”. Stuck at Verifying integrity - Signature of update is not valid.

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Yes

Steps to replicate it:

  1. I tried click “Retry” for 3 times also didn’t work
  2. I tried manually download 18.0.4.zip file and replace into the updater folder “usr/local/www/nextcloud/data/updater-ocbx1vhcc5vl/downloads/nextcloud-18.0.4.zip” and click retry still did
  3. I have also tried all possible steps suggested through below link but my updater still not moving.

Hi,

Download version 18.0.5 and rename it to 18.0.4.
Move this file to download folder
on the updater web page, click Retry.
Did it a few minuts ago :wink:

NC 18.0.5 is recommended to be skipped even by marketing…
