Hi!
I am running NextCloud 17.0.1 on CentOS 7 with PHP 7.2.25.
After upgrading my NextCloud from 16.0.3 to 17.0.1, the User menu doesn’t work anymore.
The Page loads for a while and then hangs up.
Can someone help me?

I cloned my Server and tried NextCloud V17 Beta 4, it’s all working fine now, it has nothing to do with CentOS 7.
V17.0.1 is buggy, with more than 200-300 User the User menu freezes.

This is another bug that is caused by
‘mysql.utf8mb4’ => true,
in NC’s config file. If you comment or delete this line, users will be shown again, and furthermore: sharing works again!!
I also have two clouds (one at OwnCube, one self-hosted on Arch) that have >150 users and show the same thing. @Nextcloud-Devs: This IS a serious bug since I consider it a BAD idea to comment out encoding if your db DOES encode that way. Once you re-enable it, you’ll have broken links! I’ll check whether there’s a GitHub issue already.
@Moderators: This thread should have “support” flag. How to set this after the thread exists? It seems I cannot, should the thread creator be able to add it?
