I’m using three accounts Admin, User A, User B. How can I ensure, that all users of my family can access from and save into the same receipts database? Currently I saved all of them in Admin Account and I don’t see the in my user A account.
you could create a group cooking and add all cooks to that group then share your folder with that group.
you could also share the folder to the default group users.
ex. you share /recipes
Now on the users within the group your folder should appear in there root as /recipes and it should all work.
in my case I have recepten in translation so I had to enter the cookbook settings lower left in the cookbook app and change the recipes folder setting after I hit the reload all worked out.
ps. users may have shares default setting placed under a sub directory. see user settings → sharing
Correct. If you configure the cookbook to use a folder with pre-existing recipes, you will see them (all). You might need to wait 10 min or trigger the refresh from the settings as there is a cache involved that needs refreshing.
There is an open issue to allow for more advanced sharing options. Also, like subsets, single recipes, public sharing etc. I have that on my agenda but need to fix some technical stuff before. Otherwise, I have to work around a can of worms that the current implementation consists of. After these backend changes have taken place, a lot of issues might be simpler to resolve
