Use Ubuntu Linux ownCloud desktop client with Nextcloud

Hi all.

I tried to install Nextcloud desktop client client_theming on different Ubuntu 16.04 PC, but with no success (too much dependencies are missing).

I would like to know if I can use ownCloud desktop client with a Nextcloud server and if I can trust on it (I mean if sync work well).

Yeah works just fine. Our themed version just replaces some images and translations atm.
