I cannot code my way out of a wet paper bag, so I can do none of this myself. But as I was changing my status on NC, and then going to my time tracking software to update what I’m working on I thought it would be awesome if someone could either create or customize the current Status app.
I’d like to be able to create custom statuses as the inbuilt ones are too limiting. I know you can put custom status messages, but again, you can’t make custom pre-sets there either.
It would be great if you could have your status tracked and then show a chart/table/whatever of all your statuses with time spent in each for a date range.
If you build it… I will come.
Perhaps this is a good idea to integrate in the time tracker app?

Or perhaps do it the other way round, that the time tracker sets the status? Just because you are online or active does not show on which task or project you are working on.
However it gets done would be fine with me, just would be nice to not have to do 2 steps since right now I update my status, and update the status message to highlight what I’m doing. Then go to my TT software to actually track my time.
Feel free to check out the repos of the corresponding apps (for the time tracker, see link above, status is probably the main repo?). And check if there already similar requests.
