Use Social with mobile apps...?

Is it possible to access my Nextcloud social data with a mobile app? As social is compatible with Mastodon I tried to connect to my Nextcloud with several Mastodon client apps, but didn’t get that working, even my server (my Nextcloud) can’t be found.

So my question: is it possible to do that and if yes, what steps/data/credentials are needed?

But at least it’s working inside Nextcloud now. The actual version was the first I hit completely running, but that could also depend on changing from hosted Webspace to VServer…
