Some of the users of a Nextcloud instance that I administer, have found it annoying that when clicking on a file under ‘Recommended files’ from the Dashboard page (/apps/dashboard/), the URL does not change in the address bar once they are taken to the file in question.
It appears that the action of being taken to the file occurs entirely in javascript without invoking a change in the address bar.
The UX knock-on effects include things like refreshing the tab and being surprised that they land back on the dashboard and not on the file they were on.
Does anyone know if this behaviour can be changed (short of disabling the Dashboard app altogether)? I doubt it, but thought I’d ask.
The users are using Firefox but I presume it happens on other browsers too.
