The issue you are facing:
Two copies of the same file hidden by default, both copies sourced from different places, so it’s the same book but not the exact same file. I’ve tried uploading through the web ui. The tried copying it into a synced folder. Both ways default to hidden. Other files upload and are not hidden.
I’m an idiot. the file name started with . (.NET) and therefore was hidden on a linux filesystem.
